It worked wonders on the blemishes that have been popping up along my jawline lately as well, which is great considering many of the concealers I've used are ideal for one part of my face but not for another. The verdict: It feels light and was easy to blend without the aid of a brush or a sponge, but it covered up my dark circles very effectively. Testing it on a Monday morning felt like the ultimate concealing challenge (seriously, who looks good before, like, Tuesday afternoon?), so after cleansing and moisturizing, I used my ring finger to lightly tap the concealer underneath my eyes, blending it down toward my nose and outward across my cheeks for more-even coverage. To be honest, I was happily surprised by how effective this one turned out to be. It's not that I don't love creamy base products I just didn't think of BareMinerals as having them. Known for its high-coverage yet lightweight base products, BareMinerals's Correcting Concealer has a special place in the hearts of people like me, but I admittedly was more accustomed to the brand's powder formulas when I initially tried out this concealer (which is available in eight shades). Combine that with the fact that I'm a daily contact lens wearer whose water lines and lash lines occasionally turn red, and it doesn't matter how expertly I apply my lipstick or how radiant my blush is - the eyes give away that I am sleepy and then some.

(To be fair, can anyone in New York City claim to be consistently well-rested?) My point is that try as I might to take good care of my complexion with a diligently performed nighttime routine, plenty of sunscreen, and a decent diet, I nevertheless find myself with noticeable dark circles under my eyes. I'll be straightforward, folks: I'm not huge on sleep.
